Friends in the World is a not-for-profit cultural organisation providing free experimental music to the public through the internet and working with emerging Australian sound artists to make their work more accessible. We promote music as an art form and aim to establish a working platform for like-minded musicians to increase connectivity and sharing through non-economic means. Stemming on from previous projects Farmer Frontier and Grave New World, this is the third evolutionary phase in an experiment which has changed shapes and forms whilst gasping, stretching, breaking and re-forming under the brutal forces of self-critique, self-determination and self-creation.
